Team Middle East, update 7 - Pray for the least of these...

Throughout the Bible it is clear that the Lord has a special place in His heart for widows, orphans and those who are suffering due to injustice.  As previously mentioned, one of the churches the doctor partners with has a specific ministry to widows and single mothers.  Today our team had the opportunity to teach about perseverance when waiting on God's promises, something this precious body of believers lives out every day.  Jill and Nate combined their powers of teaching-and-art to portray the story of Jericho and how perseverance brought forth God's promise.  Afterwards we prayed with several people for healing, guidance, family situations and a closer walk with God.   We were honored to be a part of what God is already doing in this lighthouse.

Later that night... at around 2am (our host country believes in seizing the night and sleeping the day), we tackled the questions that came from the podcast.  This was truly an example of the body of Christ working together.  I posted the questions online and within a few hours I had several Spirit-led, prayer-filled answers from believers on the other side of the world.  We used several of these answers on the podcast and believe that the Lord used them to bring hope and encouragement to believers on this side of the world.  Please pray for laborers to continue this life-changing discipleship podcast which is reaching many who would otherwise have no Christian fellowship.
