Kenya/Egypt Pre-trip updates, part two!

Salam, international missions lovers!

In just about two months team Kenya will be departing on their trip and preparations are in full swing.  The team continues their preparation of prayer and studying the book "Helping without Hurting on Short Term Missions."  To find out more about our partner agency in Kenya, Global Hope Network, go to http://www.globalhopenetwork.org/us/blog

Team Egypt is about four months from departure.  They recently had their first Arabic lesson with Olivia, an Egyptian friend whose father is the pastor of an Arabic church in Brandon (who knew?!).

Join the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Sphinx" as they continue their fundraising efforts at an upcoming garage sale in Plant City.  It will be held on April 2nd from 8-12pm at 1009 Sandalwood Drive, Plant City.  All proceeds go toward their trip and donations are welcome!

To give toward either team, please go to http://wearecrossing.com/worldoutreach and select a country to give toward.  Kenya donations go through the Crossing Church, Egypt donations go through our missions partner, Global Infusion.  You can designate Egypt donations to 1607EGY1 (team Egypt code).

Please continue to pray for:

  • Kenya logistics (favorable ticket prices, lodging, transportation)
  • Fundraisers
  • Team members health
  • Team unity
  • Empowerment from the Spirit
  • Our Kenya and Egypt partners who are committed to the long-term work in each of these countries.

Shokran (thank you in Arabic), and God bless you!

Your KenGyptians.
