Joseph's Feast for Forgiveness

God can repair any relationship through the power of his presence.

Genesis 43 tells the story of Joseph being reunited with his brothers.  The brothers that almost killed him and then sold him into slavery were now at his table in Egypt.  He was the ruler of the kingdom and they were without food.  He could have taken the opportunity to exact revenge, but he instead extended love and forgiveness and at his own table prepared a feast for those that had treated him as an enemy.

Genesis 43:34 – And Joseph filled their plates with food from his own table, giving Benjamin five times as much as he gave the others. So they feasted and drank freely with him.

At a table and in the presence of God, Joseph prepared a meal and prepared his own heart before God.  When we humble ourselves in God’s presence, then he can overcome any problem and fulfill His promises.
