New Perspective

The church in Acts 2 was drawn together by a new perspective.  They no longer focused on their own personal needs, but rather began focus on the needs of the people around them.

Acts 2:44-45 "All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need."

It’s not about me and it’s not about now!  It’s all about Him, it’s all about them and it’s all about Eternity!  This is the new perspective that the first church was able to embrace.  An authentic relationship with Him always grows us together in love, then it overflows into authentic relationships with other people (them)!  We have to learn what it actually means to Live Sacrificially in the presence of God and for the people that He came to save.  We need what the church in Acts discovered – we need a new perspective.
