Transformation

2 Corinthians 3:18, “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

For some of us, God is pulling and changing us like saltwater taffy; Globs of goo turn hard, pulled, twisted, then rolled together into what looks like a big play-doh worm and finally, it is cut into small pieces for eating. From one stage to the next, you might not realize it is the same product. I’m sure it tastes good as messy goo, but it is worth the wait to taste it, as it is meant to be enjoyed. Some of us may seem “okay” when we accept Christ, but God has a way of bringing us to a point of major change. During this time, our life may look like a mess to anyone on the outside; But, God is doing a work in us, which will radically change our lives and reveal a beauty that only He can design. When we accept Christ, we all begin transforming into the likeness of Him. The rate of our change will depend on our willingness to follow Christ and His design. One thing is for certain, God changes us and others take notice.
