Jesus: The ultimate/final sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin

18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV

10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

Jesus: The ultimate act of love and selflessness

13 For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow sprinkled on those who are defiled consecrated them and provided ritual purity, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

The Way of The Lamb – Philippians Chapter 2

Humility

Humility isn’t thinking less of “yourself”, it’s thinking of your “self”…less

Listen: James 1:19…Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,

Serve: Phil 2:3-4 …3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Love

Empathy: Rom 12:15…15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Kindness: Eph 4:23…23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;

Redemption

Seek Forgiveness: Matt 5:23-24 …23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

Bearing with one another: Col 3:12-13…12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
