Prayer for Israel
The Jewish Festival of Passover, which is their festival of freedom, begins next week. Jewish families normally talk about the miracles of protection that God performed for them over 3500 years ago. But God performed another miracle of protection this year. This past Saturday, Israel was attacked with over 300 drones and missiles from Iran, Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon. This was a five-hour attack that could have been devastating. However, Israeli officials report that they and the United States, Great Britain, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia were able to stop 99% of the missiles and drones!
1st Prayer Point: Pray for the continued growth of a coalition of nations to stand and defend Israel.
- We are thankful Lord for the Arab nations (Saudi Arabia and Jordan) who joined in to defend Israel and we ask that You bless them and keep them safe. (Psalms 122:6)
- We are thankful for Great Britain, France, and the United States who also joined in to defend Israel. We ask that You bless them and keep them safe. (Psalms 122:6)
- Pray that national leaders will receive God given ideas on how to help and what to do. Genesis 12: 3 (HCSB) I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
- Pray for all corruption and lies to be exposed.
- Pray that the truth about the conflict will also be reflected by our media channels globally. Lord, send your Spirit of Truth to dismantle every lie.
2nd Prayer Point: Pray that the enemies’ plans and strategies against Israel will be thwarted. Isaiah 41:11-12 (HCSB) Be sure that all who are enraged against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will become as nothing and will perish. 12 You will look for those who contend with you, but you will not find them. Those who war against you will become absolutely nothing.
- We ask that all Russian involvement with Iran and the Middle East conflicts be exposed and dissolved.
- Lord, bring the enemies of Israel down. We ask that all their plans and strategies will unfold and be ineffective.
- We come against the spirit of hate and murder that has revolted against Israel and command it to be dismantled, in Jesus’ name.
- We ask that You expose, correct, and remove those who desire to see the destruction of Israel among the UN security council. We ask that You fill their seat/office with men and women who will defend Israel and denounce terrorism.
- We ask for supernatural wisdom and insight to be poured out on the Israeli war cabinet as they strategize to defeat their enemies. Isaiah 30: 21 (NIV) Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
3rd Prayer Point: Pray for the peace and protection of Jerusalem and every innocent person caught in the middle of this war. Psalm 122:6 (NLT) Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper.
- Prince of Peace, we cry out for Your divine intervention in Israel and the surrounding regions.
- Lord, let prosperity flourish and may Your unwavering peace reign over the hearts of its people.
- Father, we turn to You, seeking refuge and safety for all affected by the conflict in Israel and its neighboring nations. Just as Your Word promises, we pray that You will shelter them under Your protective wings.
- We ask that Your presence bring a calming assurance to both civilians and peacekeepers on the ground. We trust in Your unwavering care, believing that in Your shadow, they find comfort and security. Psalm 91:4 (NLT) He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
- We lift up those who are grieving the loss of their loved ones in this conflict. Your Word assures us that You comfort those who mourn, we ask for Your divine presence to bring peace and healing to these broken hearts. May they find hope and strength in You. Matthew 5:4 (NLT) God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
- Pray Psalms 91 for Israel, her allies, and every innocent person caught in the middle of this conflict.
- We come against all fear, terror, and lawlessness that is being released in the Middle East and here in America. We command these broadcasts to be silenced in Jesus’ name. We command these powers and authorities to be dismantled and displaced in Jesus’ mighty name! Lord we invite your love, joy, peace, and order to come. Holy Spirit we ask that you pour out truth and revelation here in America and throughout the Middle East. 1 John 4:18 (HCSB) There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love. Psalms 118:4 (HCSB) Let those who fear the Lord say, “His faithful love endures forever.” Ephesians 6:12-18 (HCSB) For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. 13 This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. 14 Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, 15 and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. 16 In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s word. 18 With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
4th Prayer Point: Pray for salvation to come to all peoples in the Middle East. Use the map and list of nations to pray specifically for these people.
Romans 10:13 (NLT) Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.
1 Timothy 2:1-6 (HCSB) First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, 2 for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and man, a man, Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself-a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.
- Lord, we intercede for those caught in the midst of this turmoil, we long for salvation and spiritual renewal to sweep through the hearts of all people involved. Your Word assures us that everyone who calls on Your name will be saved.
- We pray for a profound awakening to Your truth, that amidst the chaos, multitudes may look and find the eternal hope only You provide.
- We are asking that the blinders that have been placed on the unbelievers in the Middle East by the god of this age be lifted in Jesus’ name. Lord, lift the veil and let Your light shine in these dark times. 2 Corinthians 4: 3-4 (HCSB) But if, in fact, our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 Regarding them: the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
