Join the Worship Team
The Crossing Church is a place where we encourage our members and attendees to use their gifts, talents and abilities to increase the Kingdom of God and bring glory to His name. We are currently looking for vocalists and instrumentalists to serve in worship teams across our campuses. We are looking for musicians who:
Have a heart for worship and a desire to serve
Can demonstrate vocal or instrumental proficiency
Have active attendance with The Crossing Church for at least 3 months
Have completed the three steps of the audition process
The Audition Process
Step One
Submit a video and fill out the online application. The video lets you give your best first impression, since you can correct any mistakes and perform without the pressure of an audience!
To submit a video, set up a free YouTube account if you don’t have one already. Then record yourself singing or playing a song of your choice that shows your skill level on your voice or instrument. A cappella singing is recommended for vocal submissions.
Step Two
Prepare two selected songs to perform in front of, or along with, current members of the team.
Step Three
Have an interview with our Worship Arts Staff, so we can take a few moments to get to know you better.
Our desire at The Crossing Church is to usher people into the awesome presence of a Holy God. In searching for volunteers to help us with this vision, we realize that there must be a balance between a person’s heart/character and giftedness. We are looking for a healthy balance of both. We are not looking for professionals, however, we do want to uphold a level of excellence which is a part of our church’s Core Values. That level of excellence is determined in a group setting of accountability within our Worship Staff.
