Empowerment : ASK
9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” ~ Luke 11:9-13 NIV
Ask Holy Spirit for Revelation
- 15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. ~ Ephesians 1:15-21 NIV
- 32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” ~ Luke 24:32 NIV
- 17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, ~ Acts 9:17-18 NIV
Ask Holy Spirit for Confidence in the Lord
- 19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. ~ John 5:19 NIV
- 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power. ~ 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NIV
Ask Holy Spirit for clean hands and a clean heart
- 11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.~ Psalm 119:11 NIV
- 23 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.~ Psalm 139:23-24 NIV
Empowerment : ACT
6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. ~ 2 Timothy 1:6-7 NKJV
The Romans Road is a collection of Bible verses from the book of Romans, often used as a clear and simple way to share the gospel and lead others to Christ.
- Romans 3:23 – We All Have Sinned “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
- This verse shows that everyone has sinned, and no one meets God’s perfect standard. It establishes the universal need for salvation.
- Romans 6:23 – The Consequence of Sin “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
- Sin leads to spiritual death, but God offers the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
- Romans 5:8 – God’s Love Demonstrated “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
- This verse emphasizes God’s unconditional love and the sacrifice of Jesus to pay for our sins, even before we turned to Him.
- Romans 10:9-10 – The Response of Faith “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
- This is the call to respond—confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection leads to salvation.
- Admitting their sin and need for forgiveness.
- Believing in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
- Confessing Jesus as Lord of their life.
- This is the call to respond—confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection leads to salvation.
- Romans 10:13 – Assurance of Salvation “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- This verse reassures that salvation is available to everyone who sincerely calls upon Jesus for help and forgiveness.
Closing with Prayer: After sharing these scriptures, invite the person to pray and accept Christ by:
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that I have fallen short of Your perfect standard. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son and that He died on the cross for my sins and rose again to give me new life. I turn away from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I invite Jesus into my heart to be my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life to You and ask You to guide me and help me live for You from this day forward. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. I trust in Your promise that I am now a child of God. In Jesus’ name, amen
