BRAVING CHANGE

16 They set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the people of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had departed from the land of Egypt. And the whole congregation of the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness, and the people of Israel said to them, “Would that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots and ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.” ~ Exodus 16:1-3 ESV

Lessons We Can Learn and Do In Transition

1.) Count The Cost Of Change

2.) Recognize Transition When You’re In It

28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” ~ Matthew 11:29-30 MSG

3.) Disorientation Is Normal In Transition

4.) Don’t Fight Transition – Pain Is Normal In The Shifting of Seasons

5.) Grief Is Normal And Necessary In Transition

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. ~ Matthew 5:4 NIV

6.) Have Vision In Transition

7.) Ask God, “What Can I Learn In Transition?”

23 Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. 24 See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting ways— the path that brings me back to you ~ Psalm 139:23-24 TPT
