god of Success | Week 2 | gods and lords Series

In our Series called gods and lords Realize that there are lots of things in this world that can steal our worship and prop themselves up in our lives as counterfeit “gods and lords.” If we can identify them, we can Remove them and Restore our relationship with the Lord.

Today’s greatest challenge: We are constantly being bombarded with Satanic messaging and we are spending almost no time hearing from the Lord!

  • in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:4 NASB 1995
  • in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. ~ Ephesians 2:2 NASB 1995
  • and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. ~ 1 John 4:3 NASB 1995

Time Spent

  • Media: As of 2024, U.S. adults spend an average of approximately 12 hours and 37 minutes per day consuming media across various platforms. Digital media accounts for about 63.7% of this time, equating to nearly 8 hours daily. Traditional media formats, such as television, radio, and print, make up the remaining portion, totaling around 4 hours and 37 minutes each day. This extensive media consumption encompasses activities like watching television, browsing the internet, engaging with social media, listening to music or podcasts, and reading newspapers or magazines.

How to find True Success

  • ASK –

    • This is divine generosity from the person of God himself and the magnitude of the gift of the Holy Spirit surpasses human understanding
    • Everything you need, hope for, wish for or desire is in HIM!
  • ACT  –
    • 19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. ~ John 5:19 NIV
    • If you have trusted Christ, the Lord will certainly speak to you!

“True success isn’t found in acquiring wealth, status, or possessions—it’s found in Him. Success is not about what we have, but who we have! The Lord Himself is our ultimate reward, our greatest treasure. He is success! When we have Him, we have everything. God declares, ‘I am your success,’ because in Him, we find purpose, fulfillment, and eternal victory.”
