Promised Provision | Week 2 | Vision Series
Big Idea: As you align with God’s Word for your life, provision will be made available to you to carry out His purposes, for His glory.
The Word for 2025: Promised Provision!
Logos is God’s universal truth, while Rhema is God’s specific message for a moment. Both work together to bring life and transformation.
Gabriel’s Announcement to Mary
37 For no word from God will ever fail.” 38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. -Luke 1:37-38 NIV
Rhema: No freshly spoken Word from the Lord comes to you that doesn’t contain its own DNA to fulfil the purpose for which it was sent.
1. It bears witness with the Holy Spirit – “IYKYK”
2. It aligns with Scripture
3. It leads to God’s purposes
Promised Provision
5 Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. 7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. 8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, 10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. 11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. –Psalm 16:5-11 NIV
All things work together for Good
28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. -Romans 8:28 AMP
Promised Provision
Do not forget the Lord
16 He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you. 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. -Deuteronomy 8:16,18 NIV
The Lord Commands Joshua
8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. -Joshua 1:8 NIV
