“Magical”, adjective that means “beautiful or delightful in such a way as to seem removed from everyday life.” Are we looking for our lives to be “removed from everyday life”?

Every day can be defined as extraordinary when we take time to “smell the roses”, or look for God’s faithfulness.

Jeremiah remembers the affliction the Israelites have suffered. Recounting it causes his soul to be downcast. But then in v21 he says, “Yet this I call to mind- Jeremiah shifted his focus from all the bad he’d seen & experienced to the faithfulness of God. ~ Lamentations 3:19 NIV 1984

Throughout the Bible the people kept records of God’s faithfulness, his promises & when he fulfilled those promises. ~ Joshua 4:7b NIV 1984

You don’t have to journal like I do. The modality isn’t as important as remembering God’s faithfulness and making sure you pass it to your children.

God is faithful on extraordinarily good days and He is faithful on extraordinarily bad days when we feel our circumstances are too hard to bear.

Psalm 77:1-14 (NIV 1984)

Pastor Bill Johnson “Don’t define a season by a problem.”

Define every season with God’s faithfulness.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. – Romans 10:9-10 (NIV 1984)
