Mountain of Government

This is one of the most influential and important areas of influence in our culture because it establishes laws and decrees that affect and control every other mountain. We are partnering with the Lord, “Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on the Mountain of Government as it is in heaven.” -Matthew 6:10

As we continue to pray for our nation, this is a great resource to visit. Here, you will be able to partner with believers from all over the United States in strategic intercession for our state and country.

1^st Prayer Point: Pray for our Department of Defense: 

Psalm 121:2-8 (HCSB) My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. 4 Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. 5 The Lord protects you; the Lord is a shelter right by your side. 6 The sun will not strike you by day, or the moon by night. 7 The Lord will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life. 8 The Lord will protect your coming and going both now and forever.

• We are asking that the Lord will strategically place His children in every branch of our armed forces, from the newly enlisted, all the way to the highest rankings.
• Lord, give these men and women the courage to stand for you and to influence those around them for you. 
• We ask that they have favor in your eyes and the eyes of man.
• We ask that you protect them and their families. Dispatch your angels to guard them and keep them safe. Put a wall of fire around them.
• We pray that every believer that is serving in the Department of Defense be baptized in your Holy Spirit and fire. Let them be endowed with your power as they serve. Lord, we’re asking that you release your spiritual gifts upon each one of them. Reveal your truth to them in every situation.
• We ask that they be like Daniel and his three friends. Let Your children who are serving you in our military and Defense Department be ten times better than those they are serving with (Daniel 1).

2^nd Prayer Point: Pray for our leaders who hold office at every level:

1 Timothy 2:1-2 (HCSB) First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, 2 for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

• Lord, we are asking that you bless our leaders and that you surround them and their families with your protection. 
• Bind their families together with love and surround them with men and women who love you Lord, and who will share your love with them. 
• We ask that they have times of refreshing as they work to serve our city, state, and nation. 
• Let there be men and women surrounding them who will offer Godly counsel and direction as they face difficult decisions.
• For our upcoming elections, we ask that you remove from office those who are deliberately going against Your precepts and trying to remove You from our nation. Father, we’re asking that you miraculously place men and women of God into these offices. 

Proverbs 29:2 (HCSB) When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, people groan.

Proverbs 16:18 (HCSB) Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall.

Exodus 18:21 (HCSB) But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

3rd Prayer Point: Pray for all methods of abortion to come to an end in our nation. Praise the Lord for the decision made by our Florida Supreme Court on April 1^st. They overturned the T.W. decision, which stated that our FL Constitution’s “Privacy Clause guaranteed the right to receive an abortion through the end of the second trimester.”  As a result of the April 1^st ruling, both the 15-week (effective immediately) and six-week (effective on May 1^st) abortion bans will go into effect, and the lives of countless children will be saved. 

However, that same court voted to allow a new Planned Parenthood-backed initiative to be put on the FL ballot in November.

We repent of this horrific act in our state and our nation. We ask that you forgive us Lord for every life that has been taken.

Job 12:22 (HCSB) He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings utter darkness into the light.

Amos 5: 14-15 (HCSB) Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. 15 Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.

• Pray that Christians and every Pro-Life citizen of FL will get registered to vote and then go vote against this issue.
• Pray that every Pro-life issue on the ballot in every election across our country wins.
• Lord, we ask that when voters go to the polls that they will understand the verbiage and language of the abortion issues. We come against all confusion and ask for the Spirit of Truth to be revealed at every polling station.
• We are asking that more than 60% of FL voters vote NO on Amendment 4 in the upcoming elections.

In America, more than half of abortions are done using the chemical abortion drug mifepristone. The Supreme Court just heard a case on March 26^th about the drug and made their decision in June. They ruled that the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine lacked a legal right to sue. The ruling means that mifepristone will continue to remain widely available in the United States, where it is used in over 50% of abortions by healthcare providers.

• Lord, we are asking that You give supernatural wisdom to the attorneys and legal assistants who are trying to build a stronger case against this drug and that it will make it back into the courts.
• We are asking that You speak to the right people who will be able to put an end to the distribution of this drug.

4^th Prayer Point: Pray for Israel 

Psalms 122: 6-9  (HCSB)  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.7 May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.”8 For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.”9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.

• Lord, bring the enemies of Israel down. We ask that all their plans and strategies will unfold and be ineffective.
• We come against the spirit of hate and murder that has revolted against Israel and command it to be dismantled, in Jesus’ name.
• Pray for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Pray for all those defending Israel’s borders. May they witness God move in a miraculous way in their protection and deliverance. Deuteronomy 33:29 (HCSB) Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.”
• Pray for wisdom for Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and for all of Israel’s leaders. Pray for Israel’s next action. Isaiah 30: 21 (NIV) Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
• Pray for all innocent civilians on every side who are caught in the middle of this war. Lord, we ask for relief and supernatural protection to come to those who are innocent.
