Wednesday Night Prayer – March 19th, 2025

Education Mountain of Influence

Our American educational institutions were meant to serve as places of training and admonition in the fear of God. Instruction was given in the context of a worldview that put God in the center of life as the One around whom we all must orbit. God was the foundation of all areas of learning. To prepare for life in this world, students needed to know how to relate to God and how to orbit around who He is and what He expects. However, humanism and rationalism now dominate our education system. Humanism is an ethical philosophy that prioritizes universal human qualities and intellect. It rejects dependence on faith, the supernatural, and divinely revealed truths. (The Seven Mountain Prophecy: Unveiling the Coming Elijah Revolution, by Johnny Enlow)

Isaiah 60:1-3 (HCSB) We are a light in this area of influence.

1Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines over you. 2 For look, darkness covers the earth, and total darkness the peoples; but the Lord will shine over you, and His glory will appear over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your radiance.

1st Prayer Point: Pray for our Students:

• We are believing and interceding for revival in our schools (elementary, middle and high schools, and universities)
• Pray for Unite US movement (www.uniteusmovement.com). This group exists to see college students experience salvation, freedom, and Godlycommunity. They are seeing thousands of young adults receive Christ as their savior on college campuses like: University of Kentucky, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and others. Pray for greater access to more universities and college campuses.
• Father, pour out Your Spirit on our sons and our daughters.

Acts 2:17 (HCSB) And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.

• Pray that our Christian students will conduct themselves in ways that honor You and everyone they encounter. Give them boldness and courage to share the gospel with their peers.

1 Peter 2:11-17 (HCSB) Dear friends, I urge you as aliens and temporary residents to abstain from fleshly desires that war against you. 12 Conduct yourselves honorably among the Gentiles, so that in a case where they speak against you as those who do evil, they may, by observing your good works, glorify God in a day of visitation. 13 Submit to every human institution because of the Lord, whether to the emperor the supreme authority, 14 or to governors as those sent out by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. 15 For it is God’s will that you, by doing good, silence the ignorance of foolish people. 16 As God’s slaves, [live] as free people, but don’t use your freedom as a way to conceal evil. 17 Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the Emperor.

• Pray for daily protection around every school (public and private). Lord, dispatch your angels to minister to and protect our schools in Hillsborough County, FL, and our nation. Psalms 91:11-12 (HCSB) For He will give His angels orders concerning you, to protect you in all your ways. 12 They will support you with their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

2nd Prayer Point: Pray for our Educational Leaders

• Pray for our US Department of Education Secretary, Linda McMahon.
• Pray for our FL Department of Education Commissioner, Manny Diaz Jr.
• Pray for our Hillsborough County Superintendent, Van Ayers and the entire school board.
• We are asking that God will call believers to be principals, administrators and school board members. Also, that these high-level leaders would seek Godly council and spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:8-10)

3rd Prayer Point: Pray for Curriculum Writers

• We need men and women of God to move into this area to bring righteousness and truth into our curricula. Pray that these writers will not be swayed by world views and the schemes of the enemy.

Ephesians 6: 13-17 (HCSB) This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. 14 Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, 15 and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. 16 In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s word.

• Pray that wisdom and truth will be deposited into Christian writers in such a way that their work will be so brilliant that every district in America will want to adopt it.

James 1:5 (NIV) If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Psalms 90:17 (HCSB) Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish for us the work of our hands- establish the work of our hands!

• Pray for this calling to explode in men and women who love to write.

Ephesians 2:10 (HCSB) For we are His creation-created in Christ Jesus ​for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk ​in them.

Colossians 3:23 (HCSB) Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as​​​something done for the Lord and not for men,

• Pray that current curriculum writers will resist being influenced by deception, humanism, anti-Christ, and pride.

Pray for our Educators:

• We are asking for more Christian teachers to arise and enter the classrooms and to be bold in their faith.  
• Pray that Christian educators will awaken to the great calling of influencing this mountain with the love of Jesus.
• Pray that these Christian teachers will be the best of the best, that learning will be easy for them, that classroom management will come easily because of the love of Jesus flowing from them.
• Pray that as these men and women stand up for Biblical values in our school systems, that they will be protected and promoted. Pray that they will be promoted to team leaders, teacher mentors, curriculum writers and other areas of great influence.
• Pray for our local private and Christian Schools and home school families.

4th Prayer Point: Spiritual Warfare for our Education System

1 Corinthians 1:19-25 (HCSB) 19 For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” 20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

• Come against the principality Beelzebub, and his tools which are lies.
• Come against pride and humanism that is currently ruling over this mountain. Humanism rejects the validity of our dependence on faith, the supernatural, and divinely revealed truths.
• Come against atheism, the belief that there is no God.

Ways to actively get involved in influencing this mountain:

*Hillsborough County is home to over 300 schools and over 200,000 students. Please partner with us in choosing at least three schools to intercede for weekly. Together, we can change the atmosphere and direction of this entire district.

*Go to the Hillsborough County Public School website and read the agenda for every board meeting and attend the ones that you can attend.  

*Vote for new board members that will support Biblical views in the next election.
