Wednesday Night Prayer – February 19th, 2025

Family Mountain

This sphere of society includes all families, people who work as counselors, ministers, social workers, educators, government officials that write, approve, and carry out the laws that affect the family unit, and those in any aspect of culture that deals with family life. Father, Isaiah 41:13 says that you take us by the right hand and tell us not to be afraid because you will help us. We stand on that promise for our families. As You said, greater is He who is in us than he who is in this world. If you said it, we believe it! Equip us to fight for our families.

1st Prayer Point: Pray for the love of God to sweep through our families.

We are replacing a spirit of rejection and abandonment with the Spirit of adoption, with God’s love. Romans 8:15 (HCSB) For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!”

A major influence on this mountain is the spirit of rejection. The lies that the enemy wants us to believe are like these: “I am not truly loved, I don’t really belong, and I’m the only one who really looks out for me.” We project our experiences in our earthly families into our relationship with our Heavenly Father. The enemy wants us to believe that we have been forgotten or abandoned by God. Unfortunately, perceived rejection can be just as damaging as actual rejection. All of this keeps us from experiencing true healing in our families.

Lord, we release family members who have wronged us or caused us pain (intentionally and unintentionally). We choose to forgive them and release them of any debt, in Jesus’ name. Colossians 3:13 (HCSB) Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Pray for freedom and healing from a spirit of rejection within our own life and for those within our family. We bind the spirit of rejection and command it to leave, in Jesus’ name! Romans 8:14-17 (HCSB) All those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons. 15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, 17 and if children, also heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
We ask for freedom to come to every family that is a part of this church. We pray for complete healing and restoration to sweep through this House.
Lord, we ask that in 2025 there will be massive healings in families all acrossAmerica.

2nd Prayer Point: Pray for marriages and for those who are single.

Ephesians 5: 22-33(HCSB) Wives, submit to your own husbands as to the Lord, 23 for the husband is head of the wife as also Christ is head of the church. He is the Savior of the body. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so wives should [submit] to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as also Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 to make her holy, cleansing her in the washing of water by the word. 27 He did this to present the church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and blameless. 28 In the same way, husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hates his own flesh, but provides and cares for it, just as Christ does for the church, 30 since we are members of His body. 31 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. 32 This mystery is profound, but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 To sum up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself, and the wife is to respect her husband.

Pray that husbands will love their wives as Christ loves the church. (Ephesians 5:23). Pray that husbands will love their wives as their own bodies, nurturing and caring for her (Ephesians 5:28–29, 33) and that husbands will cling to the wife of their youth (Ephesians 5:31)

Proverbs 5:15–23 (HCSB) Drink water from your own cistern, water flowing from your own well. 16 Should your springs flow in the streets, streams of water in the public squares? 17 They should be for you alone and not for you [to share] with strangers. 18 Let your fountain be blessed and take pleasure in the wife of your youth. 19 A loving doe, a graceful fawn- let her breasts always satisfy you; be lost in her love forever. 20 Why, my son, would you be infatuated with a forbidden woman or embrace the breast of a stranger? 21 For a man’s ways are before the Lord’s eyes, and He considers all his paths. 22 A wicked man’s iniquities entrap him; he is entangled in the ropes of his own sin. 23 He will die because there is no instruction and be lost because of his great stupidity.

Pray that wives will respect, honor, and mutually submit to their husbands (Ephesians 5: 22, 33).
Pray for broken marriages to be restored. Pray against the spirit of divorce and division in the home. Pray for hope to arise and hopelessness to be removed.

Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for families that have gone through divorce, that there will be inner healing for everyone involved and that joy and love will return to them.
Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are living in singleness right now. Lord let their eyes be fixed on you and their hearts be encouraged. Father, we ask that you surround them with Godly men and women that will support them and walk with them on this journey. We ask for inner healing to come from any broken relationships. Pray for hope to arise and hopelessness to be removed. Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. We pray that they will be led by you Holy Spirit as you bring their spouse into their life. Father, give them the strength to live a life of purity, Psalms 119: 9 (NIV) How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.
Pray for those who have lost their spouse. We pray for their strength and healing to be found in You. We ask that you comfort them in their times of grieving and counsel them in this season.

Psalms 147: 3 (NKJV) He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

2 Corinthians 1: 3-5 (HCSB) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. 4 He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so our comfort overflows through Christ.

3rd Prayer Point: Pray for spiritual renewal to come to our families and for prodigal children to be saved.

Psalms 51:10-12 (NIV) Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

James 4:8 (HCSB) Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Joel 2:28-30 (HCSB) “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. 30 I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

Pray for the fire of God to burn in our homes.
Pray that families will create altars to the Lord in their homes where they intentionally seek the Lord together and have intimate times with Him together in their homes.
Pray for the tangible presence of God to be experienced in our homes.
Help us to live a life of holiness and purity behind every closed door.
Lord, we are asking for a fresh hunger for your Word and the things of God for our families.

Prodigal children:

Acts 26:18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Lord, we ask that every prodigal son or daughter come back to you now in Jesus’ name. Help us Lord to love them into Your Kingdom.
Pray for each of our family members that have not accepted Christ as their Savior, to receive salvation now.

4th Prayer Point: Pray for our government leaders that have influence in the Family Mountain.

We can break through in prayer and create an umbrella of influence in the Spirit where righteous enactments are made. (Esther 8)

Pray for the fear of the Lord to instruct our Supreme Court justices, our Florida Supreme Court justices, and our local court justices.
Pray for our church families that might be tied up in court concerning their families. Lord, we pray for your favor, justice, and victory to go before them.

Job 12:22 (MSG) He shines a spotlight into caves of darkness, hauls deepest darkness into the noonday sun.

Amos 5:24 (HCSB) But let justice flow like water, and righteousness, like an unfailing stream.

Pray for laws and ordinances that govern the family to be written with Biblical values and influence.
Pray that every state will continue to work to put an end to all abortions in our nation. We praise you Lord that Amendment 4 did not get passed in the state of FL!!!!

Florida House Minority Leader Fentrice Driskell (D-Tampa) and Leader Pro Tempore Tracie Davis (D-Jacksonville) have filed legislation to “repeal Florida’s near-total abortion ban.” The legislation was announced in a news release on Tuesday, Feb. 18th. On Wednesday the 19th, the pair will hold a virtual news conference to call on other lawmakers to repeal the current abortion law. Lord, we are asking for a heavenly intervention. Will you move on the hearts of our FL legislators to stand firm for Amendment 4.Lord, we are asking for conviction and boldness to rest on these lawmakers. The people of FL have taken a stand for life and to end abortion, we are asking for our representatives to honor this stand.
