Feeding Tampa Bay

What will we do?
At the Food Bank volunteers' sort either perishable or non-perishable items.
- During non-perishable sorting: volunteers will sort and inspect the donated product (from places like Walmart, Target, Publix) to ensure food quality. Then, the items will be sorted into 12 categories which get distributed to Feeding Tampa Bay's partner agencies in 10-county area.
- During perishable sorting: volunteers will be sorting through bulk produce that was donated to Feeding Tampa Bay and will be inspecting the produce for quality and sorting them into smaller family sized portions. These will also go out to the community through agency partners or through programs that have been established in elementary schools, high schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, etc.

An orientation will be given at the beginning of the shift. After the shift, there will be a big group photo and statistics on how many meals you/your group provided during the shift. Please wear closed toe shoes.
