Light in the Darkness
Ephesians 5:13-14 – “…but everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, ‘Sleeper, awake! Rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’”
Read Ephesians 5:8-14. It explains that we were all once in darkness. The problem with darkness is that we cannot see without light. If you are born into darkness, you are not aware of the things that you cannot see. We have no ability to see without light. Christ is light, so we cannot see without the revelation of Jesus. People in the world walk in darkness and are not aware of the things they cannot see. Coming to Jesus is like turning on the light for the first time. Once light reveals the obstacles in the room, then we must choose to either walk around the obstacles or remove them. Choose Christ, turn on the light and walk in new light.
