Trading Curses for Blessing | Week 2 | The Blessed Life Series
In order for us to step into the blessing we have to first deal with the curse! The curse because of the idol worship we’ve created with the spirit of mammon.
He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
Luke 16:10-13
The enemy only cares about your worship!
It’s not about the money that’s evil but the “idol” worship of it but even in this we can break free and walk in the blessings of God.
Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver. So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him.
Matthew 26:14-16
The actions we take can bring shame to our names.
and said, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.
Matthew 26:15
God demands worship because He and he alone is worthy of it.
“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
Revelation 4:11
If we believe this biblical truth then we also would understand that as sons and daughters we have access through Christ.
There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him. Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
John 12:2-3
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at [a]Jesus’ feet and heard His word.
Luke 10:39
Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and learned.
Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”

Mary fell and Jesus’ feet and surrendered.
She didn’t just give this costly perfume, she also put it to work by anointing His feet.
But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
John 12:4-6
Judas became consumed with pursuing money over everything else.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1 Timothy 6:10
But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial.

Are we willing to receive an open rebuke in love or are we wanting secret love?
Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed.
Proverbs 27:5
“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;
Malachi 3:8-11
God is saying give me 10% “first” your very best and I’ll BLESS your 90%
God doesn’t bless you because if the amount of your gift but he blesses your generosity through the posture of your obedience.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Matthew 6:33

Words Of Knowledge:
We believe the Lord wants to heal someone who has been suffering with numbness in the left foot, we believe the Lord is healing your heart and all circulation issues today.
We believe the Lord wants to heal people who are suffering from the side effects of some type of treatment or vaccine. He wants to heal you today.
We heard the Lord say he is healing backs this weekend and we believe He is going to do it as people forgive and release bitterness.
We believe the Lord is setting people free of idolatry. As we ask Him to reveal the idols of our heart, He is going to show us. As we repent and turn away from the idols of our heart, He is going to set us free.
