Training Giant Killers

6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. – Proverbs 22:6 NKJV

3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate. –Psalm 127: 3-5 NKJV

 

Word from the Lord

You have been given stewardship over the children I gave you. You are fully capable. You are fully equipped to train your child in the way that they should go. That is why I gave them to you. You can not trust the systems of this world to train your child.

The world systems are designed to steel your time from being intentional with your children.

 

Think about this question:  How much time a week do you spend intentionally training your child in the things of the Lord?

 

Systems that are destroying our children – Architect of these systems is the enemy of Christ

      • Give your child responsibilities
      • Teach them to think for themselves (solving problems)
      • Teach your kids the promises in the Word
        • 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, … – 2 Peter 1:3-4a NKJV
      • Train your child how to be led by the Spirit of God
        • 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. – Romans 8:14 NKJV
